Man oh man is this going to be fun! For the second year in a row Oracle will be performing at the American Legion Post 175 for

The party this year promises to be a great one, since Halloween actually falls on a Saturday night for a change.  This means that all the scary monsters, sexy French maids, comic book heroes, aliens, and otherworldly creatures of all sorts will be out in force to party the night away.

Best of all, this super party night is open to the general public.  The ticket price has yet to be determined.

The doors open at 7:00 and a lite fare menu is available from 7:00 to 9:00 featuring the following:

• Steamed Shrimp - 1/2 Pound - $6
• Steamed Shrimp - 1 Pound - $11
• Cheese Steak Sub - $5
• French Fries - $1
• ...and don't forget the cheapest drink prices in town all evening long!

The band kicks off at 8:00 and plays until 12:00 with all of your favorite dance music from the last 50 years of so, plus some special Halloween flavored numbers to acknowledge the day. 

That means that Bobby "Boris" Pickett will be there with his "Monster Mash", Michael Jackson & Vincent Price will be on hand to "Thriller" you, and of course the one and only "Ghostbusters" theme will have the dance floor hopping!

Of course a kickin' Halloween party like this one wouldn't be complete without a costume contest, and we're expecting to see some incredible works of originality.  The costume contests and prizes will be for the following categories:

• Scariest Costume
• Funniest Costume
• Most Unique Costume  

This event is certain to sell out, so make sure to keep your eyes & ears open, & we'll let you know when tickets will be going on sale.

The Legion is really easy to get to.  It's located just off Route 2 between Annapolis and Glen Burnie, and is only 30 minutes from Baltimore, Annapolis, Odenton, and Bowie, and less than an hour from Columbia, Laurel, Burtonsville, Sykesville, and Towson.

For several years the Oracle Band Halloween party has been held at Perry's Restaurant in Odenton.  The band has always drawn rave reviews and sold out houses.
